Sheet-metal fabrication, surface treatment, busbar processing, panel assembly and routine testing — all under one roof. Layouts, machines and processes are deployed to optimise lead time and to meet the safety, ergonomic and quality demands of switchgear manufacturing.
Factory overview
Plot-level integration of all switchgear manufacturing functions on a single campus in TTC Industrial Area, MIDC Electronic Zone, Mahape — Navi Mumbai. Material flow is laid out so that incoming sheet, copper and components are processed sequentially through fabrication, surface treatment, assembly and testing without back-tracking.
Sheet-metal fabrication
CNC turret-press, shearing and bending machines support the modular, bolted construction adopted for both MV and LV cubicles. Repeat accuracy is critical for interchangeability and aesthetic finish — both achieved through CNC programming and good material handling.
Surface treatment & powder coating
Seven-tank pre-treatment line followed by powder-coating booth and curing oven for durable, RAL-matched finish. In-house processing keeps the surface treatment quality directly under our control rather than being subject to external job-work variability.
Manufacturing engineering & design
Mechanical design and manufacturing engineering teams convert the electrical engineering inputs into part-lists, GA drawings and customised assembly drawings. Industry standards and our own manufacturing know-how guide every design decision.
Busbar fabrication
Dedicated copper-busbar shop with CNC bending, punching, hole-marking and insulation. Controlled torque assembly and sleeve insulation support the short-circuit performance demanded by type-test certificates.
Panel assembly
Bay-wise assembly cells with kitted hardware and schematics presented at the workbench. Component traceability from goods-inward through final assembly supports both customer audits and internal quality reviews.
Inspection, routine testing & FAT
HV, IR, primary and secondary injection, mechanical operation and continuity tests are performed as per IEC routines. Customer FAT bays are available for witnessed acceptance with calibrated, traceable test equipment.
Safety & quality systems
ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Safety, ergonomics and work environment receive the same engineering attention as the product itself — because consistent, defect-free output depends on consistent, safe processes.
